Description:

KeyLogic, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and highly reliable Data Center Technician to manage and support the daily operations of our data center. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a dedication to maintaining uptime, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The technician will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and infrastructure, ensuring optimal data center performance.

Job Duties:

  • The technician will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and infrastructure, ensuring optimal data center performance
  • Ensure infrastructure is organized, adhering to data center standards and best practices
  • Ability to perform data center installation such as racking of equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Perform routine hardware checks, preventive maintenance, and upgrades as required
  • Work closely with data center, network, and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Inventory Management skills, maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of all physical assets and consumables across datacenters
  • Work directly with other teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues or assist with services
  • Participate in capacity planning to accommodate growth and new technology initiatives
  • Perform cable management duties, including installation, labeling, and troubleshooting of network and power cabling
  • Implement, maintain and ensure all Security and Compliance standards are met in our data centers
  • Follow established security protocols to protect data center assets, and monitor access to the facility
  • Data center environment, with occasional on-call or after hours/weekend work as required for maintenance or emergencies
  • Ability to work from our data centers in Manassas, VA and our Alexandria, VA office
  • Work directly with other teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues or assist with services

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Proficient with server hardware, networking equipment and data center infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications:

4-6 years of experience in a similar role working in Data Centers preferred
Technical certifications such as A+ or Network+

Salary:
$57, 000 yearly
