This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. Using modern Agile Software Development and DevSecOps delivery methodologies you’ll work with the development team to modernize, enhance, and maintain solutions. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to help make sure the solution the team develops considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Skillsets:

Must Have:

• 2+ years software development
• Experience with Java, front-end user interface and back-end interface development, including translating requirements into code and implementing mockups
• Experience with HTML/CSS, including knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, responsive web design, CSS preprocessors such as Sass or LESS, and frameworks/libraries such as Bootstrap, Foundation, or the US Web Design Standards
• Experience with developing API/Microservices-based solutions and integration using platforms like Spring Boot
• Extensive knowledge and experience of JavaScript, including the use of frameworks such as React or Angular
• Experience with version control systems, such as git. Perform design and code reviews.
• Experience with test automation, DevSecOps toolchains, and TDD practices in an Agile delivery environment.
• Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility.
• Experience with continuous integration (CI)/continuous deployment (CD) pipelines and container platforms in private or public cloud environments, using technologies including Amazon ECS, Gitlab
• Experience writing and executing automated unit tests; Experience writing and performing 508 tests
• BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• Ability to obtain a security clearance

Nice to Have:

• Experience in mobile application development
• Experience with Cloud-native development using microservices.
• Experience with cloud-computing services, such as Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, or performance management
• Experience with Okta or other similar identity and access management solutions
• Possession of excellent critical thinking skills
• Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills
• Possession of excellent interpersonal, team, and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of Section 508 compliance
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
