The IACP seeks to hire two Digital Learning & Engagement Coordinators who will provide support to IACPnet and IACPlearn. The positions provide innovative/creative solutions to problems, participate in decision-making activities, interface with IACP leadership, membership, external partners and the policing profession.

IACPlearn is IACP’s online learning management system which houses on-demand and live virtual training, webinars, conferences, and podcasts for law enforcement. IACPnet is an online subscription platform containing resources, policies, tools, and e-libraries to help law enforcement leaders make informed data-driven decisions.

Job Responsibilities

Working with IACP staff, project partners, and stakeholders, the Project Coordinator will:

Support the sales, growth, and customer service for IACPnet:

  • Identify and engage sales prospects (agencies and individuals) using existing resources, and develop, track, and document interactions and leads.
  • Perform demonstrations for prospective customers on the capabilities and value of IACPnet.
  • Reach out to sales prospects through generated leads and coordinate outreach efforts with team members and other departments.
  • Support identifying and executing effective marketing strategies to increase sales and bring awareness to law enforcement of the benefits of IACPnet to them and their departments.
  • Coordinate outreach efforts with various law enforcement bodies to grow IACPnet.
  • Attend law enforcement events and conferences to generate leads and connect with existing customers.
  • Provide administrative and customer service support to IACPnet subscribers
  • Other duties as assigned.

Support operational aspects of IACPlearn

  • Assist in maintaining IACPlearn by uploading and organizing course materials, site pages, videos, podcasts, webinars, and resources within the Learning Management Software (LMS).
  • Support the creation and configuration of new courses.
  • Manage user enrollments, permissions, and roles to ensure appropriate access to content
  • Review course content for formatting, broken links, and functionality to ensure quality standards.
  • Generate and distribute basic usage reports, such as course completions and user activity.
  • Support customer service efforts across teams internally and partners, course attendees, and speakers.
  • Establish and maintain healthy, long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Support identifying and executing effective marketing strategies to bring awareness to law enforcement of the benefits of IACPlearn to them and their departments.
  • Represent IACP’s products and services using deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of the policing profession.
  • Assist the Customer Service Manager when needed and serve as backup support to the manager.
  • Maintain communication with the project team, including staff members, partners, and subject matter experts, and act as a liaison to external stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field + two (2) years of job-related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other relevant business software
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills to include the ability to troubleshoot problems from multiple perspectives
  • Effective task prioritization and time management skills
  • Strong writing, editing, and attention to detail
  • Successful in collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to use artificial intelligence (Microsoft CoPilot)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a non-profit organization, association, or criminal justice environment
  • Familiarity with and understanding of project-relevant issues and policing.
  • Experience with, and ability to plan events and make logistical arrangements for individuals and groups.
  • Clear understanding of data systems such as LMS and Salesforce

Special Conditions and Work Environment

  • 25% of travel may be required based on job responsibilities
  • Work takes place primarily in an office environment
  • Light lifting, bending, and reaching may be required
