Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You
This is your chance to be part of an in-house Brands team of industry experts in the domains of hospitality, brand management, innovation, food and beverage, wellness, owner relations, and more, for all of Hilton's unique brands! As the Manager of Brand Platforms and Openings reporting to the Senior Director Intake & Project Services, you will deliver a variety of new projects each year that provide more efficiencies across Brand Management and the customer groups we serve. You will manage projects from initial discovery and requirements gathering through technical implementation, testing, training, and measurement - owning the process end-to-end to ensure business success.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of enterprise priorities and the ability to connect them to your project. Additionally, you will have a background in project management for technology and data-driven initiatives. You will work with internal corporate leaders up to and including change management functions, where together you can demonstrate a success story of minimizing duplicative efforts and strengthening collaboration to reach clear success factors.
What you'll do during a typical day: - Work with identified product teams to document current state and future vision on new features they seek to implement, ensuring aligned user acceptance criteria
- Oversee technical, data or change management implementation teams across the project's lifecycle to monitor their ability to complete tasks / tickets as assigned with on-budget, on-time delivery.
- Test/Demonstrate features, gathering feedback across sprints or testing to ensure seamless delivery and releases, while managing priorities and ultimate backlog of other ideas that come in along the way.
How you'll collaborate with others: - Lead conversations to define project requests, documenting opportunities, intent, and expected outcomes to foster agreement from the start of a project, through its culmination, including retrospective and prioritized backlog or maintenance handoff activities.
- Collaborate across data, tech, and communications teams to clarify workloads, define tasks, and set aligned timelines.
- Be the connective tissue across a team of doers, ensuring changing priorities are addressed as new work is discovered, regularly escalating milestones and risks to leadership.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications: - Three (3) years of project management experience working collaboratively with all levels
- PMP or Agile certification
- One (1) year of experience working more than one project concurrently, involving a collection of requirements and transitioning them into actionable technical, data or change driven solutions
- One (1) year of Salesforce experience and at least one Business Intelligence tool (MicroStrategy, Power BI, CRM Analytics, Tableau)
It would be useful if you have: - BA/BS Bachelor's Degree and the desire to work in a fast-based, always learning environment
- Certified Salesforce Associate or Administrator with two (2) years of experience
- Five (5) years of project management experience working with data or technology projects
- Two (2) years of Hospitality experience working with Owners, Hotel Teams or within strategy functions
- Experience with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud within the Salesforce ecosystem
