Full job description Structural Steel Welder Join the Extreme Steel team! Extreme Steel, Inc. is a growing AISC-certified structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabricator and erector serving the DC, Virginia, and Maryland areas. We are looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our team as Structural Steel Welders. What You'll Do Perform structural steel welding according to blueprints and project specifications.Form, roll, grind, cut, and sand metal components.Prepare materials for fabrication and welding.Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.Assist with general fabrication and shop operations as needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Requirements Minimum 1 year of welding experience.Experience with structural steel fabrication preferred.Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment.Reliable transportation required.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
