You will work as a project leader with responsibility for planning, directing, and coordination of manufacturing processes and the design, purchase, fabrication, CNC programming, and supervises installation of manufacturing equipment and tooling.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods using knowledge of product design, drawing interpretation, materials, fabrication processes, assembly methods, quality control standards, tooling, and production equipment capabilities.
  • Analyzes equipment and workstation capacity, space requirements, workflow, and workspace layouts for maximum efficiency.
  • Selects and completes vital documentation for the purchase, design and construction, scheduling, installation and start-up of capital equipment.
  • Confers with suppliers to develop specifications and production plans for components, tooling, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Estimates production times, staffing requirements, production costs, and capital investments for new or revised products and processes.
  • Provides direct service to manufacturing departments for training, documentation of work instructions, maintenance of process routing files, changes to product drawings, analysis of equipment performance, and trouble shooting of production problems.
  • Develops, trouble shoots, and writes/improves programs for CNC machine tools using knowledge of cutting tool selection, cutting speeds and feeds for various materials, tool design, drawing dimensioning and tolerancing, and use CAD / CAM system as required to perform task.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • 2-year Technical Associates Degree
  • CNC programming experience
  • Good understanding of mechanical concepts.
  • Ability to develop, read, and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to optimally connect with all levels of management and employees.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • 4-year Technical Degree with 2 years related experience or 2-year Technical Degree with 4 years related experience is preferable
