Part-Time Construction Surveillance Technician (CST / SFK)

CenCore is seeking a part-time, cleared Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) to support secure construction and renovation activity in Arlington, VA. This role is responsible for monitoring construction personnel, materials, tools, equipment, and site activity to help protect classified information, prevent unauthorized access, and support compliance with applicable government security requirements. The CST works closely with security officers, project managers, construction personnel, and security management to observe activity, document findings, escalate concerns, and maintain the integrity of the secure construction environment. This part-time position requires an active Top Secret clearance and relevant construction surveillance, security, or related site monitoring experience. Key Responsibilities Monitor construction and renovation activities to help ensure classified information, controlled spaces, and sensitive government operations remain protected.Enforce site access control procedures and help ensure only properly authorized personnel are present in controlled construction areas.Inspect materials, tools, equipment, and deliveries entering construction areas for compliance with site security requirements.Observe construction personnel, site activity, and work conditions for suspicious activity, security concerns, or deviations from approved plans and procedures.Document observations, incidents, irregularities, and potential security issues in clear, accurate reports and logs.Report suspicious activity, security breaches, policy violations, or construction-security concerns through the appropriate security management chain.Coordinate professionally with security officers, project managers, construction personnel, and other stakeholders to support secure site operations.
