The Med Tech is responsible for maintaining safe and secure delivery of medications and health related items to the residents within the community. The Med Tech assists in developing, coordinating, and performing tasks on the service plan according to the residents' preferences and abilities. The Med Tech serves as a supervisor and monitors the Resident Assistants on the same shift. The Med Tech acts as the designated person in charge in the absence of the Administrator and other Department Heads when they are the Senior Med Tech on duty in the community. Some states require Medication Technicians (Med Techs) to hold a CNA or related certification. In these states, Med Techs must maintain current credentials, remain in good standing, and comply with all applicable state licensing and regulatory requirements. Additional or expanded duties may be assigned based on credential status. $1200 sign on bonus after 90days
