Material Handler

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, Manager, or Lead, the Material Handler is responsible for the movement of materials and supplies in the warehouse.

Duties will vary and are related to:
• Shipping
• Receiving
• Inspecting
• Storing
• Assembling
• Issuing and delivery
• Will work with a variety of materials, equipment and supplies



Minimum Requirements
• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• The Material Handler performs his / her essential functions in a warehouse environment. Regularly scheduled to work Monday through Friday. Routinely works between 40-45 hours in a week and is expected to be on-call on weekends as required. Must be flexible and be able to work overtime if required.

Qualifications
• Attentive to detail. Precise.
• Efficient and reliable.
• Capable of working independently with moderate supervision.
• Able to juggle and prioritize multiple responsibilities and directions.
• Hazmat training may be required
• Forklift certification may be required
