Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will own and improve the systems, pipelines, and platforms that support software delivery, reliability, and scalability across the enterprise. You will enable teams to build, test, release, and monitor applications quickly and safely by delivering robust CI/CD processes, infrastructure automation, and developer-friendly platform tooling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support rapid, safe delivery of software
  • Champion observability, incident response, and platform resilience
  • Partner with development teams to improve deploy ability, rollback, and recovery strategies
  • Standardize environments using containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Collaborate on security-first DevOps practices, including secrets management and policy automation
  • Automate repeatable tasks using scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Python)
  • Conduct quarterly internal training on DevOps best practices, tooling, or infrastructure improvements
  • Other duties as assigned

Required education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, DevOps, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering roles
  • Proven hands-on experience managing infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Demonstrated success deploying and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab)
  • Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Solid knowledge of Linux system administration, networking fundamentals, and shell scripting
  • Deep experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production settings
  • Experience implementing and supporting monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, etc … )
  • Familiarity with role-based access control, least privilege, and secrets management.
  • Experience integrating DevOps into legacy modernization efforts and cross-functional Agile teams
