OverviewAssist with guest needs and requests to ensure positive guest experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Answer questions regarding or making reservations for dining, entertainment, sports events, recreation, tours, health and beauty, childcare, transportation, cultural activities, shopping, and other services.
- Provide directions to hotel facilities or events.
- Notify/assist guests of receipt of facsimiles, mail, messages, and packages.
- Maintain current information and materials regarding hotel, services, and attractions.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills - High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
- One year experience in a public contact position.
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests and associates.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
