Job Description

PACS is hiring a Facility Manager in Salt Lake City, UT. This is a full-time position.

Position Summary

PACS is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, safety, and functionality of our corporate facilities and work environments. This role is responsible for ensuring facilities are safe, reliable, well-maintained, and positioned to support the needs of employees and the continued growth of the organization.

The Facilities Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for facility-related needs and will coordinate building maintenance, repairs, vendors, workplace services, security, space planning, and facility improvement projects. This position requires someone who is highly organized, responsive, hands-on when necessary, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Facilities Operations & Maintenance
  • Oversee daily facility operations to ensure offices and workspaces are safe, functional, clean, and well maintained.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and service for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, building systems, and other facility infrastructure.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility issues and respond quickly to maintenance or workplace needs.
  • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and facility standards.
  • Monitor building conditions and proactively identify maintenance needs, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate janitorial, landscaping, waste management, pest control, and other facility services.
Vendor & Contractor Management
  • Manage relationships with contractors, service providers, property management teams, and facility vendors.
  • Solicit and evaluate proposals, negotiate pricing and service agreements, and monitor vendor performance.
  • Ensure vendors meet PACS expectations for quality, responsiveness, safety, and cost.
  • Maintain appropriate vendor documentation, contracts, insurance certificates, and service records.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate vendors, improve service levels, and reduce unnecessary facility expenses.
Workplace & Space Management
  • Partner with leadership and internal teams to support office moves, seating changes, workspace planning, and organizational growth.
  • Coordinate employee moves, furniture installation, office setup, signage, and workplace modifications.
  • Maintain accurate information regarding office layouts, facility assets, equipment, and space utilization.
  • Support the development of workplace standards that create a professional, functional, and consistent employee experience.
Projects & Capital Improvements
  • Coordinate facility renovations, office improvements, furniture installations, and other facility-related projects.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and vendor requirements.
  • Monitor projects from planning through completion while minimizing disruption to business operations.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, landlords, contractors, architects, and other partners as needed.
  • Track project costs and ensure work is completed according to agreed-upon specifications and timelines.
