Are you a seasoned professional with a background in child support operations who is adept at navigating complex projects and ensuring their seamless execution? We're seeking a Senior Consultant to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving project success. As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate closely with project managers, providing invaluable support to track progress, maintain work plans, and uphold project specifications within budget and schedule constraints.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with project managers on various initiatives and projects to track progress and provide support as necessary.

- Support leadership in ensuring that the project is delivered to specifications, is on time, and within budget.

- Work closely with management and work groups to create and maintain work plan documents.

- Track the status and due dates of projects.

- Manage relationships with project staff responsible for projects.

- Produce regular weekly and monthly status reports that could include; work plan status, target dates, budget, resource capacity, and other reports as needed.

- Facilitate regular meetings and reviews.

- Adhere to contract requirements and comply with all corporate policies and procedures.

Technical Duties & Responsibilities:

- Technical responsibilities include business process mapping and analysis, business requirement development, problem identification, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment.

- May act as lead analyst on projects and direct the day to day activities of other analysts.

- Analyzing complex data and identifying patterns, recommending actions and measuring outcomes.

- Coordination with technical staff to understand business requirements, specifications and processes.

- Market research and understanding of health and human market trends.

- Creating system functional specifications from business requirements.

- Performance is evaluated based on utilization and contractual deliverables.

- Project activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring.

- Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.

- 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.

- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Additional Minimum Requirements:

- Ability to Travel: Occasional travel required, up to 25% of the time, to facilitate project coordination and stakeholder engagement.

- Child Support or Child Welfare System Modernization Experience: Demonstrated experience in implementing or working with modernized Child Support or Child Welfare systems, ensuring familiarity with relevant technologies and best practices.

- Child Support or Child Welfare Operations Experience: Proven track record in Child Support or Child Welfare operations, encompassing knowledge of regulatory frameworks, case management procedures, and client service delivery.

- Organizational Change Management Experience: Proficiency in guiding organizations through transformative change, including stakeholder engagement, communication strategies, and change adoption methodologies.

- Business Process Automation Experience: Expertise in leveraging automation technologies to streamline business processes, enhance efficiency, and drive organizational productivity.

- Feasibility Studies Experience: Strong background in conducting feasibility studies, assessing the viability and potential impact of proposed projects or initiatives, and providing informed recommendations to stakeholders.

- A working knowledge of related human services, health and/or workforce government organizations is required.

- Previous experience facilitating business process mapping and analysis in Child Support and/or Child Welfare programs is strongly preferred.

- Previous experience working as a senior business analyst on large computer system is highly desirable, particularly on a Child Support or Child Welfare system modernization project.

- Experience writing proposals and designing business solutions applicable to business development and proposal activities is also desired.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
