What you will enjoy doing*- You will provide a high standard of customer service during deliveries, including unloading products and reloading empty cylinders
- This role requires driving constitutes approximately 30% of the day, with the remainder involving deliveries, cylinder handling, shipping orders, paperwork, customer contact, and vehicle inspections
- You will need to accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up and complete Hazardous Material shipping orders in accordance with DOT/TC regulations
- You will placard vehicles according to hazardous material regulations and Linde standards
- This role requires you to conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and identify and ensure timely vehicle repairs and maintenance
- You will operate a variety of equipment and regularly interface with both internal and external customers
- Use handheld computers for customer transactions and compliance needs, following a computer-generated route and sequence delivery plan
What makes you great- You have a high School GED and must be 21 years or older
- You have 2 years of driving experience or completed a truck driver training course with equipment similar to Linde's
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years
- No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years
- You have a current medical examiner's certificate or ability to pass a DOT physical
- Valid Class A or B CDL required
- Current Hazmat endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire is required
- You have the ability to read and write in English
