Step into Your New Role

We’re looking for a proactive, relationship driven Business Development Specialist to help grow our presence in the greater Salt Lake City area. In this client facing role, you’ll build relationships, identify new opportunities, support early pursuit strategy, and represent our firm across the region. If you’re energized by meeting people, uncovering client needs, and helping shape winning pursuits, this is the role for you.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with clients through regular outreach and meetings.
  • Identify new opportunities by tracking client needs, programs, and upcoming procurements.
  • Support technical teams with early positioning and client insights.
  • Prepare talking points, briefing notes, and engagement materials for client meetings.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity and client activity tracking in CRM systems.
  • Coordinate with proposal and marketing teams to support pursuit planning and follow up.

Experience/Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, or similar field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in business development, client relations, or sales.
  • Experience in consulting engineering or professional services preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging directly with clients.
  • A proactive mindset, strong organization, and the ability to work across teams.
