We are searching for the best talent for our Clinical Support Specialist - Medical Technologies / Orthopedics position, located in the South East region of the Netherlands.

The Global Orthopedics business is comprised of Joint Reconstruction, Trauma, Spine, Sports Medicine and Power Tools. Collectively, these businesses are focused on helping patients along the care continuum — from early intervention to surgical replacement, with the goal of helping people return to living active and fulfilling lives.

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Consultant for Medical Devices to provide expert clinical guidance and support in the development, implementation, and optimization of medical device solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R& D, regulatory, sales, and marketing, to ensure the safe and effective use of medical devices in clinical settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, medical technology, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Expertise & Support:
    • Provide clinical insights during the use of medical devices

  • Training & Education:
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops for healthcare professionals on the proper use of medical devices.
    • Develop educational materials, including user guides, clinical protocols, and best practices.

  • Regulatory & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to medical device regulations (FDA, MDR, ISO 13485, etc.).
    • Assist in the preparation of clinical documentation for regulatory submissions.

  • Sales & Marketing Support:
    • Provide clinical insights for marketing and sales strategies.
    • Participate in customer meetings, demonstrations, and trade shows to showcase product benefits.
    • Address customer concerns related to clinical applications and product performance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in a relevant field (Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine, or related healthcare discipline).

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
    • Experience working with medical devices in a clinical, regulatory, or consulting capacity.
    • Prior experience in training, education, or clinical research is a plus.
    • Prior Experience in Orthopedics

  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to translate clinical needs into technical and product requirements.
    • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
    • Excellent Dutch and good English language skills

Work Environment & Travel:

  • This role may require travel (domestic/international) to customer sites, hospitals, conferences, and training events.
  • Hybrid or remote work options may be available depending on company policy.
