Qualifications
- A strong sense of time management with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines is required .
- Working knowledge of full range of production techniques including sound recording, graphics, television, photography, videotaping, lighting, editing methods and equipment.
- Ability to set up and operate a wide variety of production equipment, including set-up for multi-camera video productions and distance learning classrooms. ¨ Experienced creating graphics, illustrations, animations, and other elements as requested .
- Thorough knowledge of production techniques and equipment. General knowledge of production principles and practices for instructional media.
- Experience in all facets of video and audio production.
- Project management experience and the ability to keep track of multiple assets at once are critical in this position.
- Ability to provide lead work and project direction to other staff.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively provide technical and aesthetic leadership and work direction to others.
- Strong writing skills including the ability to learn narration and continuity script writing.
- Ability to quickly research and incorporate subject matter expertise to provide production direction and enhance the quality of productions.
- Must be able to work as both a Designer and Production Editor.
- Organized, dependable, knowledgeable, and detail oriented.
- Must be self-motivated, work well with others, and enjoy being part of a team environment.
- 4-year degree a plus and must be proficient in:
- Adobe Suite products. The ideal candidate should be highly experienced in Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing, Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and visual effects, and Adobe Audition for advanced audio editing and sound design. Familiarity with other Adobe tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator for supporting graphics is also preferred.
