Description:

The Inside Sales Account Manager, Central is responsible for developing and closing sales opportunities by contacting new customers, as well as existing clients via phone calls and e-marketing techniques. This position is tasked with effectively growing Bob Barker Company's current customer footprint throughout specific regions, increasing the company’s overall recognition. This position serves as a developmental pathway to an outside sales role. Team members who demonstrate strong performance may have opportunities to grow into outside sales positions, which may require relocation.

Work Location: Ogden, UT (Hybrid)
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7: 00 AM-4: 00 PM MT

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and/or exceed goals, including but not limited to calls, leads per week, and new business generation.
  • Communicate with 45–50 customers per day through actual conversations (excluding leaving messages).
  • Be a total solution provider to Bob Barker Company customers and provide best‑in‑class customer service.
  • Grow current and new account business through consistent customer interaction.
  • Generate new leads via phone by contacting potential and existing customers to develop sales opportunities.
  • Learn and effectively sell the entire Bob Barker Company product line.
  • Become a subject matter expert for Bob Barker Company customers by communicating product features, benefits, and advantages.
  • Collect and communicate all key information regarding leads to the internal CRM system and sales team.
  • Act as a liaison between Bob Barker Company customers and internal departments to ensure best‑in‑class service.
  • Execute company guidelines, directives, and standards.
  • Learn innovative products to drive outbound calls and generate business.
  • Work within Bob Barker Company values daily.
  • Travel up to 5% of the year for trade shows.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in telesales or field sales required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Driven self‑starter with the ability to work independently and in group settings.
  • Ability to develop and present strategic plans to grow territory to Regional Sales Manager using PowerPoint and/or other presentation methods.
  • Ability to analyze business data to strategically grow territory business.
  • Computer proficiencies to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
