Bring movement, strength, and energy to active senior living.
We are seeking a passionate Wellness Instructor to lead structured fitness and movement classes for older adults at Ovation Sienna Hills. This is a true instructor role - not a coordinator - ideal for someone who enjoys teaching group exercise and adapting workouts for varying ability levels.

You will lead engaging, safe, and results-focused classes that support strength, mobility, balance, and overall wellness for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct group fitness classes for seniors, such as:
  • Cardio & low-impact aerobics
    
  • Strength & weight training
    
  • Cardio drumming
    
  • Chair yoga & flexibility classes
    
  • Tai chi / balance & mobility
    
  • Pool / aqua fitness classes
    
• Demonstrate proper form, technique, and safety modifications
• Adapt exercises for varying physical abilities and mobility levels
• Create a welcoming, encouraging, and inclusive class environment
• Monitor participants for safety and proper movement
• Coordinate class setup and equipment use
• Maintain clean and safe workout areas
• Track attendance and participation as requested
• Collaborate with community leadership and wellness staff on class schedules

Preferred Certifications (any of the following)

• Degree required in Exercise Science or related field
• Group Fitness Instructor certification
• Personal Trainer certification
  
• Senior Fitness certification
  
• Yoga or Tai Chi instructor certification
  
• Aquatic fitness certification
  
• CPR / First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
