About the Role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production equipment in a continuous state of readiness. In this role, you will perform essential equipment inspections and preventive maintenance, prepare operational reports, and manage the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide variety of fixed mechanical equipment, systems, and heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities
Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment, strictly following manufacturer-recommended service intervals and company procedures.
Inspect the condition and operational status of plant machinery, performing necessary mechanical adjustments and routine repairs.
Maintain an organized and accurate inventory of regularly required replacement parts.
Execute emergency repairs on production equipment to effectively address plant breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Report required complex repairs or abnormal equipment findings to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Promote a culture of safety by adhering strictly to all safety, environmental, and company policies, completing all necessary compliance paperwork in a timely fashion.
What We Are Looking For
Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training required.
Experience: Practical background in mechanical repair, equipment installation, or construction maintenance within heavy industry environments.
Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with general plant maintenance capabilities (e.g., changing screens, using a cutting torch, wrenching with hand tools). Stick/arc welding and light fabrication skills are highly advantageous.
Equipment Operation: Experience operating a skid-steer and man-lift is a plus.
Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy is required for logging maintenance reports and ordering parts.
Physical & Safety Requirements
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and appropriately utilize Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators.
Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass qualitative and quantitative fit testing safely.
