Location: Langtry Nursery, 11-29 Langtry Road, London NW8 0AJ

Hours per week: 5 days per week (10 sessions), term time (teacher’s terms and conditions)

Contract Type: Permanent/Full Time/Term Time over 39 weeks

About the role

Do you want to make a real difference at the very start of a child’s learning journey?

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Teacher to join our welcoming team at Langtry Nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape young lives, helping children develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning in a safe and nurturing environment.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the planning and delivery of a high-quality early years curriculum
• Create a stimulating, inclusive and safe environment for children to thrive
• Observe, assess and track children’s development, tailoring support to meet individual needs
• Deliver targeted interventions for children with SEND and additional needs
• Work closely with families, carers and a range of multi-agency professionals
• Play a key role within the nursery leadership team

You’ll see the impact of your work every day, supporting children to reach key developmental milestones and preparing them for the next stage of their education.

All About You

You’re a committed and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher who is passionate about early years education and making a difference.

You will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Teacher Reference Number
• Experience working with young children in an early years or nursery setting
• Strong understanding of child development and early years frameworks
• Experience supporting children with SEND and additional needs
• A collaborative approach and confidence working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with families

You’re proactive, adaptable and motivated to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity it is essential that the successful candidate holds a DfE Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Teacher Reference number alongside proven experience of working directly with young children in a group day care situation.

The contract is offered within the teachers’ pay and conditions act.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS. Please note Camden also offers the DBS update service.
