Weatherford International is hiring a Finance Controller - Wireline in Fort Worth, TX. This is a full-time position.

Job Summary

We're seeking a detail-oriented Finance Controller to oversee daily financial operations in our manufacturing environment. This role combines financial expertise with operational insight to drive efficiency, cost control, and process improvement while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities

Control daily accounting and finance activities including job costing, payables, cash flow projections, and month-end reporting

Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial comparisons

Manage statutory and internal audits

Review daily shipments, receipts, and direct labor hours

Collaborate with manufacturing operations on cost-cutting initiatives

Set monthly operational targets for shipments, labor hours, and inventory

Monitor and control operational costs including supplies, repairs, and overtime

Plan equipment acquisition based on availability, costs, and economic projections

Develop performance reports on jobs, personnel utilization, and financial metrics

Direct staff activities to maximize efficiency and profitability

Manage production budget and ensure quality standards

Skills/Education Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field

Minimum 8+ years of manufacturing accounting experience

Comprehensive understanding of Hyperion monthly processes

Advanced Excel proficiency including macros and complex formulas

Hyperion expertise (HFM/Essbase, SmartView, FR Studio)

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

US GAAP knowledge and application

Systems integration understanding

Skills/Education Preferred

Advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.)

JD Edwards experience

Manufacturing operations background
