Job Purpose:

Weatherford have a great opportunity for an entry level Analyst - Corporate Development to join the team in Houston. The Analyst supports the company's strategic communication with investors, assists in the preparation of key financial presentations, and provides analytical and operational support for merger and acquisition activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to synthesize financial and market data, and comfort working with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines. The Analyst ensures accuracy, consistency, and high-quality execution across investor materials, reporting cycles, and mergers and acquisitions (M& A) process workflows.

Responsibilities:

Investor Relations
  • Assist in the preparation of a suite of internal Investor Relations presentations, including Monthly Board decks, CFR decks, Quarterly IR Board presentations, and other recurring materials.
  • Maintain and update shareholder lists on a regular basis using sources such as Nasdaq IR data, 13F filings, and Irish Notifications.
  • Compile detailed investor profiles for conferences and Non-Deal Roadshows (NDRs), utilizing multiple IR platforms.
  • Ensure that all information on the company's Investor Relations webpage remains accurate and up to date (analyst coverage, upcoming conferences, investor events, etc.).
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Strategy, Communications, etc.) to compile supplemental data for the quarterly earnings script and FAQ.
  • Gather and analyze data from peer financials to support ad-hoc presentations or competitive benchmarking. Assist with reviewing, validating, and fact-checking financial numbers across the Quarterly Report and Annual Report to ensure accuracy and alignment with base data.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) Support
  • Assist in developing M& A presentation materials including teasers, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), and M& A Board decks (volume dependent on deal flow).
  • Maintain and regularly update the Dealroom platform (the company's M& A workflow tool) to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and readiness for ongoing and potential transactions.
  • Maintain and update peer financials and multiples for M& A transactions on a regular basis.

Skills Required:
  • Entry-level to developing knowledge of corporate finance, including an understanding of financial statements (P& L, balance sheet, cash flow), financial ratios, and basic valuation concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize, interpret, and present quantitative and qualitative data clearly and accurately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, data organization, formulas).
  • Prior exposure to Investor Relations tools (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Nasdaq IR Insight, Capital IQ, AlphaSense) is not required but beneficial.
  • Demonstrated openness and ability to learn new digital platforms and technology systems quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, particularly when dealing with financial data.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and learn continuously.

Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related discipline preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, M& A, FP& A, or a similar analytical role (internships accepted).
