Job Description:

Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician dedicated to making a positive difference. This position will work in our Blood Manufacturing lab, processing donated blood products, which allows us to send blood products to our local hospital partners for use on patients in need.

Your impact as a Laboratory Technician is vital. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include processing in donated blood products, appropriate review of test results, correctly labeling products, data entry and boxing up blood products.

What to Expect

Schedule: Days includes W/E rotation

Base Pay: $16.45 - $17.15 (depending upon relevant exp to lab)

As a Laboratory Technician, you'll get to:
  • Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
  • Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
