UTHealth Houston's Neurology Research Department is seeking a
Seasonal Hire to join their team in the Li Lab. This position will support a research project that has a focus on stroke and Alzheimer's disease; perform data organization and analysis including behavior data and histology data; and perform other work that is varied but generally project oriented. Work occasionally requires use of initiative and judgment.

Position Summary: The Li Lab is looking for a student for a summer position! This position will support a research project that has a focus on stroke and Alzheimer's disease; perform data organization and analysis including behavior data and histology data; and perform other work that is varied but generally project oriented. Work occasionally requires use of initiative and judgment.
Position Key Accountabilities: 1. Entry, organization and analysis of experimental data.
2. Prepares graphs and tables; prepares reports and presentation materials.
3. Handles general inquiries, collects and processes paperwork such as document processing, record keeping, and report compilation.
4. Schedules and maintains calendars; coordinates related arrangements in compliance with all University, governmental, and/or grant policies and guidelines.
5. Help maintains research supplies and other resources.
6. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: None. Individuals must be a minimum age of 18 years. High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None; one year of experience with laboratory and/or scientific procedures, preferred
