Position Summary: Under general direction, conducts basic/ translational research, which may include animal work and other research activities. Research activities may include some or all of the following: , handle biological samples, perform laboratory experiments and activities, and data collection. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.

You will learn and master some of the most cutting-edge clinical, human brain science, genetics, and imaging research tools and methods.
Position Key Accountabilities: - Under close supervision, conducts research activities according to research protocol. Research activities may include some or all of the following: analysis of imaging data, programming of data processing pipelines, performing large computational experiments with imaging data, patient recruiting and screening.
- Versatile computer skills including programming in R, Python, MATLAB, C/C++, and Java.
- Good understanding of statistics.
- Knowledge of Linux OS is a plus.
- As needed, may coordinate the work of laboratory technicians and assistants to ensure efficient, timely, and high-quality results.
- Complies with all governmental and University policies, rules, regulations, and codes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Certification/Skills: - Knowledge of Lixus OS, preferred.
- Knowledge of statistics, preferred.
Minimum Education: - Bachelor's Degree required May substitute required education with equivalent years of experience beyond the minimum experience requirement.
Minimum Experience: - One year of related experience in a research or clinical lab environment.
- May substitute required experience with equivalent years of education beyond the minimum education requirement.
Physical Requirements: Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
