Position Summary: The Center for Health Care Data (CHCD) engages in research, education, and public service through the study of collected health data that requires interdisciplinary participation. The professional in this position is responsible for implementing quality improvement, project management plans. Key functions include policy and document review and the coordination of project deliverables. The work requires attention to detailed regulations and performance requirements as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
Position Key Accountabilities: 1. Conducts periodic audits and reviews of records, policies, procedures, and documentation to assess and ensure compliance with contracted program requirements.
2. Meets and collaborates with managers to develop quality improvement plans and to monitor ongoing project outcomes.
3. Prepares executive summaries and reports in a timely manner, using criteria developed and approved by the CHCD as well as state and federal regulatory entities.
4. Engages in technical writing activities, including conducting thorough research on specific topics, understanding and incorporating feedback from stakeholders, and refining various forms of documentation.
5. Analyzes audit reviews to identify areas needing improvement and adherence to program policies.
6. Supports ongoing operations, quality improvement interventions, audits, and assists in resolving deficiencies that impact plan adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards.
7. Analyzes data and creates necessary reports to identify performance improvement issues and compares outcomes to similar institutions.
8. Annually monitors and reports on status and completion of quality programs and plans according to contract work plan.
9. Interfaces with a diverse range of clinical and administrative professionals, resolves policy and service issues within the group, and directs data analytic and reporting activities that are prescribed by regulators in a complex environment.
10. Performs other duties as assigned
Certification/Skills: Preferred: Experience in technical writing and/or policy adherence work.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently using critical thinking skills to solve problems and improve processes.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or related experience.
Minimum Experience: Three years of related experience.
Physical Requirements: Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
