UTHealth is hiring a Instructor, Clinical Genetic Counselor - Pediatrics, McGovern Medical School in Houston, TX. This is a full-time position.
McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track clinical genetic counselor position in the Division of Medical Genetics, Department of Pediatrics . The candidate will join a vibrant clinical practice that includes 4 MD Medical Geneticists, 1 MD/PhD Medical Geneticist, 10 Genetic Counselors, and 3 Metabolic Dieticians, in an academic setting that provides comprehensive genetic services.
Position Key Accountabilities:
• Contribute to the clinical and educational programs of the Division of Medical Genetics.
• Provide services in the Inpatient Medical Genetics Consult service and the Outpatient Medical Genetics Clinics at the UT Professional Building (UTPB)
• Actively participate in educational activities, including teaching medical students, residents, and fellows at UTHealth
Qualifications:
The selected candidate must have a Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling and be board-eligible or board-certified.
