McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, is seeking a board-certified or eligible fellowship-trained cornea specialist with expertise in refractive surgery to join the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science .

Position Key Accountabilities: This is an academic appointment with research and teaching opportunities and expectations. We are looking for a clinician interested in building a busy practice at our primary location, the Robert Cizik Eye Clinic, located within the Texas Medical Center. Other responsibilities may include resident and/or fellow supervision at our county hospital, Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital, which is central to and the primary location of our education programs.
This is an academic track with the potential for tenure. Appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be determined in accordance with experience.
Qualifications: - Board-certified/eligible in ophthalmology
- Texas medical license/eligible
- Completed fellowship training or equivalent in the cornea
