The Department of Internal Medicine of McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, invites applications for a full-time faculty position (Malignant Hematology) at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Division of Hematology. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated hematologist with a strong academic interest in clinical and translational research and a passion for teaching.
Position Overview: Clinical Responsibilities: The successful candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient care for a broad patient population with hematologic diseases within the Memorial Hermann and/or Harris Health system. There is an opportunity to specialize in one's area of interest either in classical hematology or malignant hematology within the hematology division. UTHealth is home to one of the nation's largest Comprehensive Sickle Cell Centers and one of the largest Hemophilia Centers.
Teaching and Mentorship: This role offers the opportunity to mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, fostering the next generation of hematologists.

Qualifications: - MD or DO degree, or equivalent.
- Board-certified or eligible in Hematology.
- Good record of academic achievement and interest in teaching, clinical care, and research.
