Description:

McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor or Full Professor position in the Department of Emergency Medicine .

Position Key Accountabilities:

  • Providing clinical service efforts at Memorial Hermann and Lyndon B. Johnson Hospitals, helping to supervise medical care in the Emergency Center.
  • Working a set number of clinical hours a month, and the remaining hours per month will be protected for research, administrative, and educational activities.
  • Participating in the Department's teaching activities, including both the medical student and house staff educational programs, didactic conferences, seminars, lectures, and case presentations, as well as your enthusiastic support of our Department's professional activities.


Qualifications:

  • Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Medical License.
  • Board certification/eligibility in the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
