McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor of Medicine to join the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston.

Position Key Accountabilities:

This faculty member will serve as a general gastroenterologist, building a practice that encompasses the breadth of general gastroenterology. Support is available for candidates with particular interests in inflammatory bowel disease, motility-related disorders, and acid-peptic disorders. They will be responsible for maintaining high clinical quality and efficiency for our gastroenterology inpatient and outpatient service line. Additionally, they will focus on developing an academic career through the education of current fellows and active participation in research.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification (or eligibility) in Gastroenterology.
• Eligible for full, unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Texas.
