Job Description
UTHealth is hiring a Assistant Professor, Breast Imaging - Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging, McGovern Medical School in Houston, TX. This is a full-time position.
McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston is seeking an Assistant Professor-Clinical for the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging . The candidate will perform and interpret radiologic procedures in the field of Breast Imaging for patients at McGovern Medical School and our affiliated locations, including Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) Hospital, The Woman's Hospital of Texas (HCA), and outpatient imaging facilities in the Cardiothoracic Imaging Section.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Provide imaging services in the Breast Imaging Section, performing mammograms, breast ultrasound, and MRI. Clinical patient care, teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, contributing to educational activities such as lectures and case conferences, and engaging in clinical research, quality improvement, and scholarly publications. Faculty are also expected to participate in departmental meetings, committees, and strategic initiatives, and collaborate on practice development and operational planning.

Qualifications:
- MD or Equivalent.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
- Texas Medical License or eligible to be licensed.
- ACGME-accredited Radiology residency or 48 months of international equivalent.
- 12 months of Fellowship Training in Breast Imaging.
