Job Summary

The Director of Business Design and Product Management will lead the integration of business strategy with product development to drive innovation and enhance customer experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market trends, user needs, and business operations. This position requires exceptional leadership skills to coordinate inter-departmental collaboration for optimal business performance and to solve complex business problems. In a constantly changing business environment, this role is critical in the design and implementation of tools and solutions which yield the highest efficiency and quality of service. The Director of Business Design and Product Management oversees multiple operational support teams including Business Design and Integration (BDI) and Product Management. This position requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in all aspects of TriWest's business contracts and provides cross-functional leadership and design as needed to adjust to a constantly changing environment.

Education & Experience

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration or equivalent work experience
• U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation
• 7+ years leadership experience in Product Management and/or Business Design Operations, Managed Care, Finance, and/or Medical Management experience in a healthcare environment
• Experience in process and program improvement and business and operational planning
• Experience in leading multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience preparing presentations and reports

Preferred:

• Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• PMP or similar certification

Key Responsibilities

• Applies in depth knowledge of business operations to advance strategic initiatives and operational performance.
• Designs operational procedures and tools for business optimization.
• Leads inter-departmental teams to implement program changes and new requirements.
• Tracks and maintains awareness of technical and operational developments to ensure adoption of industry best practices. Drives efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure tools and resources are maximally utilized.
• Works closely with management teams in support of customer concerns and in achievement of the highest levels of efficiency, accuracy and quality.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with user needs, market demands, and business objectives.
• Conduct thorough market research to inform product decisions and identify competitive advantages.
• Gather and prioritize customer feedback to drive product improvements.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate product success and business impact.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

• Availability to work non-regular hours as necessary
• Works within a standard office environment, with minimal travel
• Extensive computer work with long periods of sitting
