Trinity Hospice is hiring a Hospice Clinical Education Manager in San Antonio, TX. This is a full-time position.

The Clinical Education Manager is responsible for facilitating clinical education and competency programs that support excellence in hospice patient care under the direction of the Administrator and Compliance. This position serves as a clinical resource for staff and partners closely with Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI), Compliance, and Clinical Operations to identify opportunities for improvement, develop targeted education, and ensure sustained adherence to regulatory and organizational standards. The Clinical Education Manager plays a key role in fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and evidence-based practice while ensuring clinical staff receive current, effective, and engaging education that supports high-quality patient outcomes. Essential Job Duties Develop and deliver ongoing clinical education for hospice staff. Partner with QAPI and Compliance to identify education needs based on audits, quality metrics, regulatory changes, and survey findings. Develop, implement, and monitor educational plans that support Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and quality initiatives. Ensure clinical education reflects current hospice regulations, evidence-based practice, and organizational policies. Conduct competency assessments and provide coaching to improve clinical performance. Support survey readiness through staff education and corrective action training. Collaborate with clinical leadership to implement new policies, workflows, and best practices. Monitor required education completion and maintain training records. Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for clinicians and leaders. Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and adjust training based on quality outcomes. Perform ride along visits when indicated to assist with mentorship, education and support. Travel to branch locations as needed to provide education and clinical support. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of three (3) years of hospice clinical experience. Minimum of two (2) years of leadership, education, quality, or supervisory experience in hospice or home health. Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs), hospice regulations, ACHC, and state licensing requirements. Experience developing and delivering education programs. Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems. Preferred: Experience with QAPI, compliance, accreditation surveys, or clinical auditing. Experience creating online learning modules and competency assessments.
