The West Texas Rehabilitation Center is hiring a PERSONAL TRAINER/PACESETTERS COORDINATOR in San Angelo, TX. This is a full-time position.
Personal Trainer/Pacesetters Coordinator About this Role Looking for a personal training role that goes beyond reps, sets, and gym memberships? As a Personal Trainer / Pacesetters Coordinator at West Texas Rehabilitation Center, youll help people build strength, endurance, confidence, and independence through individualized exercise, group fitness, aquatic programming, and continued wellness following therapy. What You'll Do Develop individualized exercise programs focused on fitness, endurance, strength, and continued wellness following therapy.Lead exercise programs including aquatic exercise, Parkinsons Power Hour, and group wellness classes.Work alongside physical and occupational therapists to support mobility activities such as gait training, transfers, wheelchair mobility, and functional activities.Build relationships with clients and provide encouragement, education, and support as they work toward their fitness and wellness goals.Coordinate client scheduling, follow up with inactive clients, and maintain accurate records.Assist with payments and day-to-day operations of the Pacesetters program.Operate and maintain fitness equipment and coordinate equipment calibration schedules.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe gym and treatment environment.Provide exceptional service to clients, team members, and WTRC visitors.
