Compliance and Education Manager Hospice About this Role Are you an experienced RN who is passionate about quality, compliance, education, and making a meaningful difference in hospice care? West Texas Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Compliance and Education ManageR to join our Hospice team and help ensure we continue delivering compassionate, high-quality care while meeting important regulatory and compliance standards. Reporting to the Director of Hospice, you'll play a key leadership role in developing and maintaining our comprehensive compliance program, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and helping our team stay informed, prepared, and focused on excellence. What You'll Do Plan, implement, and maintain the hospice comprehensive compliance program.Oversee the Hospice QAPI program and lead related committee meetings and performance improvement efforts.Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and hospice certification standards.Oversee medical record processes to help ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.Manage quality assurance activities and identify opportunities for improvement.Collect, organize, and analyze data to identify high-risk, high-volume, and problem-prone areas.Develop and document practical strategies to improve processes and patient care.Provide ongoing education to staff regarding safety, health, infection control, and related topics.Maintain infection control documentation and support required testing and vaccinations.Review complaints and grievances and communicate findings and recommendations to the Director.Supervise and coordinate utilization review activities.Participate in weekly interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings.Support staff development through interviews, evaluations, education, and leadership.Help the Hospice team identify and develop new performance improvement opportunities.Protect patient and family privacy and confidentiality while treating everyone with respect and compassion.Help navigate difficult situations and resolve conflict through effective communication and negotiation.
