Overnight, our Night Auditor ensures the hotel operates with precision and calm professionalism, providing attentive service while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of daily financial operations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Night Auditor to oversee overnight front desk operations while completing nightly financial reporting. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a quiet, independent environment and takes pride in delivering polished, attentive service at every guest interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to late arrivals and assist with overnight guest needs
• Complete nightly audit procedures including balancing accounts, reconciling transactions, and preparing reports
• Ensure accuracy of guest folios, billing, and daily financial summaries
• Maintain security and awareness of hotel activity throughout the overnight shift
• Prepare and distribute daily operational reports for management
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries or concerns
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for early departures or urgent needs
• Maintain a calm, polished presence representing the hotel's luxury service standards

Qualifications

• Previous front desk, night audit, or hotel accounting experience preferred
• Experience with property management systems (Opera or similar preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working overnight hours
• Basic accounting or reconciliation experience a plus
