Job Summary

The Total Rewards Administrator will perform a variety of duties involved with the administration of the company's health and welfare benefit programs (e.g. health insurance, life and disability plans, time off programs, etc.), retirement plans (401(k) and ESOP), employee records, and compensation functions. This position will help improve efficiency, accuracy, and communications with a strong focus on care and service to our employees while applying compliance requirements. The Total Rewards Administrator has strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs & is effective at planning and priority setting with an ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines while also being very detail & team oriented.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advises individuals regarding eligibility and coverage for such programs as health, dental, vision, group life insurance, long- and short-term disability, retirement, income continuation, and other such policies and programs.
2. Communicates provisions of benefit packages by way of benefit booklets, new employee orientations, and annual policy renewal meetings.
3. Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, Social Security and DOL requirements.
4. Build relationships and partners with job sites. Develop and deliver communication tools to enhance the understanding of the company's benefits and total rewards package for our Spanish speaking population.
5. Develop new ideas and processes for Total Rewards to create a customer-focused culture and maximize impact and efficiency.
6. Help maintain the Total Rewards records and site to ensure policies and program documentation are up to date and compliance requirements are met.
7. Manage Spanish inquiries. Assist Spanish speaking employees with Total Rewards benefits questions and issues including health and welfare, enrollment, retirement, time off and compensation.
8. Review and ensure accurate reporting and payment of premiums, invoices and benefit-related expenses. Monitor integrity of benefit enrollments.
9. Support Compensation and Retirement program administration, including compensation surveys, bonus plan, 401(k) and ESOP.
10. May conduct research to determine the effectiveness of Total Rewards programs and policies; may assist with special projects within the benefits area

Minimum Job Requirements

1. Bilingual in Spanish required
2. Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources or related field preferred, or equivalent years of experience
3. Minimum 4 years of related Benefits, Compensation, and Retirement administration experience
4. Progressive experience in Total Rewards administration with a large organization (4000+ employees), while serving employees and completing compliance, auditing, notices, and billing responsibilities
5. Strong HRIS experience with Oracle HCM system experience a plus
6. Strong Excel knowledge including the use of Pivot tables, VLOOKUP's and Macros preferred
7. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs
8. Excellent interpersonal communication counseling skills with a focus on customer service
9. Proficient use of PowerPoint and ability to present Total Rewards information to large groups
10. Must be highly organized, accurate and self-motivated
11. Proven proficiency in analyzing and managing complex and sensitive data with exceptional attention to detail

5. Will lift, push or pull objects up to 501bs on an occasional basis.
6. Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
7. Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
