Job Description

Job Summary

Includes the support, coordination, production, and management of written, visual, and digital marketing and communications strategy, programs and materials. Responsible for designing, creating, and/or overseeing a marketing project or event that may include advertising, promotions, sales, campaigns, or communications in support of the organization’s business operations.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Responsible for managing the coordination, logistics, promotion and execution of successful internal and external events including industry tradeshows, conferences, meetings and special events at any scale.
    • Willingness to for up to 20% travel and non-traditional hours, including some weekends. Utilizes established expertise in event coordination tech platforms, communication, leadership, financial management, marketing team collaboration, and negotiation to execute event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits
    • Creatively formulates new ideas for events to ensure events are meaningful, personal, customer oriented, and support the overall goals of the organization
    • Performs specialized assignments; solves complex problems and develops non-traditional solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking Interprets internal/external business environment
    • Recommends best practices to improve processes or services pre & post-event
    • Impacts achievements of customer, operational, project or service objectives
    • Communicates difficult concepts to generate clarity and alignment on projects, initiatives, and various work products through client and internal meetings throughout event lifecycles
    • May lead functional projects with moderate risks and resource requirements
    • Performs all other duties as assigned by management


    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred


    Experience

    • Typically requires 5+ years of related work experience
