Technical Writer

The Technical Writer - Continuous Improvement is responsible for gathering and analyzing information from various sources while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. In addition, the Technical Writer - Continuous Improvement is responsible for creating high quality documentation in line with Shoppa's standards that are centered around Toyota Lean Management requirements.

Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of process requirements.

Obtain a firm understanding of products and services to translate complex information into clearly defined, simple, and well-polished content.

Develop high quality documentation that meets Shoppa's standards and is appropriate for the intended audience.

Utilize "Lean Thinking" when working independently or collaboratively, to ensure content includes the key components to writing effective documentation.

Develop and maintain a detailed database off appropriate process documents, flow charts, and reference materials.

Qualifications

• Must have experience and knowledge of Lean practices and fundamentals of writing effective process documentation.
• Proficient with various software- MS Office, MS Navision; exp. with ELC preferred
• Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Lean techniques (5S, Kaizen, Standardized Work, Process Flow Diagrams)
• Sitting and standing for long periods of time.
• Long periods of time spent working behind a computer.
