JOB SUMMARY:

The Inventory Optimization Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing inventory levels across the organization to support

operational efficiency and service levels. This includes demand forecasting, inventory planning, and identifying opportunities for cost

savings and improved inventory turns. The role works cross-functionally with departments such as Parts, Service, Rental, Used

Equipment, Fleet, and Sales to ensure inventory availability aligns with current and projected needs. The ideal candidate is highly

analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in using data and technology to support decision-making.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend inventory targets.
• Develop and maintain inventory planning models using ERP and forecasting tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory strategy with operational needs.
• Monitor key inventory metrics such as turnover, fill rate, and stockouts.
• Identify and implement opportunities for inventory reduction and process improvement.
• Maintain data integrity in the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
• Support Sales & Operations Planning (S& OP) with relevant inventory insights and reporting.
• Create and distribute routine and ad hoc inventory reports to stakeholders
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain analytics, or a related field.
• ERP and forecasting tool experience required; Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
