Industrial Cleaning Solutions Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

The Industrial Floor Cleaning Sales & Support Specialist plays a critical role in expanding Shoppa's Material Handling's Industrial Cleaning Solutions Division. This position is responsible for driving new equipment sales, managing rental conversions, and executing product demonstrations while providing exceptional support to both internal and external customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and close new business opportunities within assigned territory.

• Conduct on-site demonstrations, site surveys, and ROI assessments to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.

• Present professional proposals and equipment comparisons that highlight value and total cost of ownership advantages.

• Partner with Territory Managers and CSS teams to identify opportunities within existing customer accounts.

• Promote rental-to-sale conversions and long-term customer partnerships.

Technical & Product Support

• Deliver and train customers on sold and rented equipment.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure each unit meets Shoppa's quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor operational issues, coordinate service needs, and support customers with maintenance best practices.
• Safely transport and set up demo units using company-provided truck and trailer as needed.

Communication & Collaboration

• Maintain accurate activity records in CRM, including all demos, quotes, and follow-ups.

• Collaborate with Director Steven Garrett and other division leaders to forecast, plan, and report on performance metrics.
