Position Overview:
The Director of Marketing is a strategic, hands-on leadership role charged with developing and executing integrated marketing initiatives that align with the CEO's vision and advance the company's competitive position. This individual will partner closely with executive leadership and collaborate across departments-including Sales, Service, Parts, and Rental-to create impactful campaigns that elevate brand visibility and support revenue growth. This role requires a self-starter who combines strategic acumen with operational agility and is comfortable moving between strategy and execution to move initiatives forward. Beyond execution, they will serve as a strategic contributor-proactively bringing fresh ideas and innovation while ensuring alignment with the broader business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Organizational Impact
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the CEO's vision and company objectives.
• Maintain a proactive approach to change, with the ability to identify growth opportunities through market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
Innovation & Execution
• Develop and implement actionable marketing plans that incorporate innovation and creativity to keep the company ahead of industry trends.
• Plan and optimize integrated, multi-channel campaigns to generate qualified leads and accelerate sales pipeline velocity.
• Monitor campaign performance and market trends, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and maximize impact.
Brand Management
• Ensure a consistent, compelling brand presence across digital and traditional platforms.
• Oversee the company's digital footprint-including website, SEO/SEM, social media, and performance analytics-to increase reach and engagement.
• Drive initiatives that elevate the customer experience and strengthen customer loyalty.
Team Leadership
• Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing marketing team with a focus on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Establish clear goals and success metrics, provide consistent coaching, and foster a culture of ownership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive alignment between marketing and internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution across the customer lifecycle.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 8-12 years of progressive marketing experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably in B2B, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
• Demonstrated success building and scaling marketing teams and programs from inception through execution.
• Expertise in digital marketing, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot), and analytics.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and action-oriented with a "lead from the front" approach.
• Adept at navigating ambiguity, solving complex challenges, and implementing innovative solutions in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Physical Demands:
Office employees typically sit for long periods and perform tasks that require fine motor skills, such as typing or using a mouse. They may occasionally stand, walk, or lift up to 30 pounds, like files or office supplies. The work environment is climate-controlled with moderate noise, and employees
