As a System Application Engineer, a typical day for you might include:
  • Experience providing high-quality programming per specifications, standards, budgets, and schedules.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, contractors, engineers, and fellow team members
  • Working as part of a team that is responsible for the programming, start-up, troubleshooting, and commissioning of DDC building automation systems.
  • Configuring, programming, and customizing control systems to meet project-specific needs.
  • Creation of software programs and front-end graphics.
  • Commissioning on projects.
  • Analyzing problems and resolving issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
  • Performing system diagnostics and recommending enhancements to improve system performance and efficiency.
  • Coordinating customer training and completing closeout documents.
  • Providing technical support and direction to end-users and employees when applicable
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Possessing a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar program
  • Programming skills are essential
  • Understanding of electrical principles
  • Knowledge of control systems/HVAC systems is a plus (but not required)
  • Additional preferred skills to be discussed during the interview, tailored to specific business units
