Description:

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $80, 640-$120, 460.00 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What will you do?

This position is accountable for preparation of quotations for product/project orders while driving a high level of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be able to analyze the needs of the customer, and deliver a solution based on the customer's application requirements.

What do you get to do in this position?
  • Utilize technical knowledge to prepare quotation packages.
  • Provide bill of material preparation for Standard and simple SFT projects.
  • Interpret customer requirements and match products to customer specifications/drawings.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Engineers to ensure the quote is technically compatible and competitive, and clarify that all project requirements are met.
  • Understand the Sales Engineers quotation strategy for the opportunity to ensure competitive output.
  • Communicate contractual, technical, and commercial terms.
  • Hand off quotation packages with comments on exceptions and built-in value for use by the Sales Leader in customer presentations.
  • Collaborate during the process as needed to ensure proper order conversion.
Fully utilize new tools and technology to improve efficiency.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

This job might be for you if:

  • Hybrid work schedule is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or 5-10 years industry experience.
  • Proven quotation experience in the Electrical Industry.
  • Knowledgeable on the following products:
    • Medium Voltage Equipment including: MetalClad Switchgear, Metal Enclosed Switchgear and Power Transformers
    • Low Voltage Equipment including: Low Voltage Draw-out Switchgear, Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, Pad Mount Transformers, Dry Type Transformers, simple Drives.
  • Understand and have the ability to apply NEC equipment standards and local Codes.
  • Understanding of competitor products.
  • Self-motivated team player with good time management, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to effectively utilize company software programs/collaborative tools and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
