Description:

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Intern to join our team from June-August 2026 based in Carrollton, Texas. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process improvement, data analysis, and project management. The intern will work closely with our Continuous Improvement team to identify, analyze, and execute plans to improve productivity within Power Product business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the identification and analysis of improvement opportunities using data.
  • Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss and develop improvement strategies.
  • Assist in the creation of process maps and documentation, standard operating procedures, and/or training materials.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of improvement projects.
  • Conduct research on best practices and industry trends related to continuous improvement.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Previous experience or coursework in continuous improvement, manufacturing and materials science (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
