We are looking for a part-time IT Representative to join our team! This position provides technical support for end-users across various systems, handling onsite maintenance of computers, printers, and other devices. Responsibilities include inventory management, installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance. The role requires adaptability in a fast-paced environment and strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide first-level IT support for employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 and macOS devices, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Assist users with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Respond to IT support requests via ticketing system, phone, email, or in person.
  • Ensure all devices receive the necessary updates, patches, and security configurations.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and security settings in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Assist with basic networking tasks, including connectivity troubleshooting, Wi-Fi issues, and VPN setup.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment.
  • Keep accurate records of IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and common solutions for future reference.

Who You Are:

  • Associate’s degree in an IT related field and/or minimum of 1-year relevant work experience.
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
  • Proven ability to work in high-stress situations with professionalism and composure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Active Directory in a Hybrid Environment.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience with Dell, HP, Apple, Microsoft and Ricoh printers.
  • Ability to operate tools, components, peripheral accessories, and research into desktop issues.
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills
  • Must adhere to company guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift, move, clean computer equipment as necessary.
  • Sitting for extended periods (e.g., at a desk or computer workstation)
  • Standing and walking occasionally (e.g., moving to other areas of the office)
  • Lifting and carrying light items (usually up to 10–25 lbs, such as files, office supplies, or small office equipment)
  • Reaching, bending, or crouching occasionally (e.g., to access low file drawers)
  • Fine motor skills (e.g., typing, writing, using a mouse, handling documents)
