Your Role

The Engineering Intern provides administer release of documents in SolidWorks EPDM vault and perform drafting using SolidWorks (preferred) or AutoCAD according to a mark-up provided by engineer or document control.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Identify SW EPDM vault and ERP system relationships of engineering specification components - models, assemblies, and parts.
  • Register correct drawing revision release in SolidWorks EPDM vault.
  • Retrieve correct part or assembly revision for modification from the EPDM vault, revise according to markup provided, and leave the vault revision in correct state for later release.
  • Generate and upload a PDF file of the drawing into PAC ERP system IFS and attach router for approvals.
  • Implement a variety of drawing changes from markups with minimal supervision.
  • Employ analytical skills to identify anomalies and whether and how to investigate.
  • Update progress report using MS Excel.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

High school or college student having successfully completed courses in computer aided drafting

Knowledge & Skills: Working knowledge of SolidWorks or AutoCAD; and working knowledge of database, internet, MS Excel spreadsheet, MS Word, and MS Outlook software.
