Oxbow Calcining LLC is hiring a OCE Maintenance Mechanic in Port Arthur, TX. This is a full-time position.

Essential Job Duties Install, assemble, dismantle, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair process equipment, piping, rotating equipment, and structural steel in accordance with specifications and established job plans.Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment to support safe, reliable facility operations and minimize downtime.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, bulk chemical and other equipment issues, including complex systems, tools, and machinery.Provide hands-on technical support to improve equipment integrity, reliability, cost efficiency, and on-stream performance.Repair machinery and equipment in the shop or field, depending on work assignments and operational needs.Lead and assist with the fabrication, construction, installation, and modification of new, existing, and customized equipment throughout the facility.Weld mechanical equipment, structural components, and piping applications Perform general carpentry and metal fabrication work using a variety of materials.Interpret plans, drawings, specifications, manuals, and work orders to determine work scope, repair requirements, and installation sequences.Accurately complete time sheets, shop paperwork, digital work orders, alignment records, maintenance entries, and other required documentation.Document equipment history to support reliability analysis, maintenance planning, and future upgrades.Communicate job status clearly with the Work Coordinator, supervision, and other team members.Perform periodic spare-parts inventory for assigned systems to help minimize downtime.Operate and inspect assigned mobile equipment, such as electric utility carts, forklifts, scissor lifts, articulating boom lifts, telehandlers, boom trucks, cranes, skid steers, and other heavy equipment. Equipment-specific training and certifications will be provided as needed.Lubricate equipment and machinery using oils, greases, filters, pumps, ultrasonic tools, and other appropriate maintenance tools.Support management with special projects, workflow process improvements, and other duties as assigned, included but not limited to PM development, LOTO procedure verificationWork occasional weekends and evenings, be on call as needed, and travel occasionally for training or support at other sites.Occasional travel for training and/to other sites as needed.
